Aphrodite and Venus - Short Film 

A forest far away from the busy world, Ancient Greece/Ancient Rome. Roman Goddess of love, Venus, is completely in love with Greek Goddess of love, Aphrodite. But, Aphrodite is taken by a mortal male, yet little does Venus know that Aphrodite returns those feelings. Venus and Aphrodite spend all of their time in the forest, wrapped in one another, but soon Aphrodite's boyfriend arrives to take her away. Will Venus lose Aphrodite and be stuck in the forest alone forever, or will they realise their love for one another before it's too late?

Aphrodite and Venus is a short film currently in pre-production. The film will be co-directed and co-produced by myself and Rachel Kelly . We want to create a beautiful queer love story that mixes with themes of Greek & Roman mythology. Both goddesses are known for their multiple lovers, so why can’t they be in love with each other?
